Mayra Arangure

President

She is a 4th year Aerospace Engineering student. This is what she had to share:

I have been a part of CPP SHPE for all four years, with three years on board. Most of my time spent on eboard was during online learning, which limited clubs in hosting in-person events. Now, our club is allowed to host in-person events, & with that comes three ambitious goals. First goal as the new SHPE president is to work alongside my board to bring back old professional events like NDI and Raytheon Day & also help create new ones that will help our student body feel prepared when networking and searching for internships /full-time work. My second goal is to ensure our chapter hosts inviting & entertaining activities & socials in hopes of creating a space where old and new members can make new friends and memories with SHPE. My last goal is to make sure that our club plans and host successful events this 2022-2023 academic year that not only our members can benefit from but actively enjoy.
